I stayed there during Carnival and the service was excellent. It's not luxurious because it's not a hotel, but it met all my needs to enjoy Carnival. It's close to both circuits, there were motorcycle taxis right outside the hotel, and you could walk to the Campo Grande circuit. The motorcycle taxi to Barra Shopping cost 20 reais, a good price for someone who's going to spend Carnival there and doesn't have a lot of fuss.
